It's been more than a few years since I tried Nair the last time. Chances are it didn't go that well then or I wouldn't have waited so long to use it again.
After a less than successful go at a Brazilian bikini wax a few weeks ago, I was on the lookout for the next best smooth bikini line. I've shaved for years; but I want something that's smoother and never stubbly.
I picked up Nair (almost hidden) on the bottom shelf at CVS. The directions were pretty simple, leave it on for three minutes and test an area. If your hair isn't removed, keep it on a few more minutes and try again. Don't leave it on for more than 10 minutes. I tried it twice, the first was totally ineffective, I left it on only five minutes and no hair was removed. After a couple of days, I tried again leaving it on closer to ten minutes. This time no hair was gone; but I was left with a nasty rash.
Does anyone out there use Nair or a similar product with success? We'd love to hear about your experience. My next move is laser hair removal; unfortunately it carries a high price tag.

I have given Nair (various different versions) so many times. If I didn't leave it on long enough the hair would just get swiggly looking and thinner, but wouldnt remove. Or too long and I'd burn my skin.
Now I just go get a Brazilian at Bliss. :)

I get body sugars. The pain doesn't even come close to the pain of waxing. Now that I've been sugared, I refuse to wax. I have also turned all of my friends onto it! I absolutely love it. Now, I can hardly feel it.
