Yesterday, Microsoft introduced the Kin 1 and Kin 2, designed for the younger user who uses the phone mostly for social networking (texting, facebook and twitter). Both phones feature a touch screen and slide out keyboard and will be available through Verizon in May. The Kin 2 has some upgrades: better camera, screen and keyboard. Strangely, for a company that provides software, you won't be able to add applications onto the phone (as you can with the iPhone and Blackberry). We're both too dependent on our Blackberries -and both of us are secretly plotting a transition to the iPhone one day soon- so we're not in the market for a phone that doesn't provide comprehensive email and internet services. Would this be enough for you?
