Unusual Gifts - Valentine's Day

We're all for reduce, reuse, recycle, but these gifts take it a little too far for our tastes:

These elephant dung roses from Uncommon Goods (yes, we said elephant dung!) may look pretty and last a long time, but do you really want your sweetie handing you over a bouquet of elephant poop on Valentine's Day? We would prefer the standard box of chocolates.



Somewhat less disturbing is the line of salmon skin purses from One October available at Bleu Clothing. Salmon is right up there with hot dogs and eggs as one of our least favorite foods and we're not really warm to the idea of touching its skin, either. (We know. We know. Salmon is one of nature's miracle foods. It's still not going past our lips!) Jennifer Aniston is a fan, but then again, she is dating John Mayer.
