Bargain Shoes
Last night we attended an event for Pantene where the fabulous Stacy London from What Not to Wear was the surprise guest. Though she was there to talk about her gorge hair, all JSG could focus on were her stunning YSL sky high pumps. (Stacy confirmed they were YSL, we're pretty sure they were the platform pumps below.)
Even though Stacy was wearing a pair of $795 shoes, she extolled the virtues of bargain shoes, which in Stacy's world means under $200. A few of her favorite brands that have us itching to break out the plastic again:
Jeffrey Campbell, an L.A.-based brand. These $179 boots have rock n' roll sex kitten written all over them.
Seychelles, which were a standard on shoots back in our editorial days, because they truly are stylish shoes at great prices. These flirty pumps are at Zappos for $94.
Oh Deer! is a brand we've never heard of before, but if the vixen-y pump below is any indication, we're about to become really big fans. They're on sale at Zappos for $138.67.
Last but not least, Pour La Victoire, which offers Marc Jacobs' knock offs (Don't buy those. We believe in copyright protection and intellectual property. Besides, they're hard to walk in.) and these colorful booties, available for $212 at Zappos.
As for Stacy's hair--she confirmed that her gray stripe is the result of a childhood illness and is real; she has been a fan of Pantene since she was a teen and she is planning on donating her hair for Pantene's Beautiful Lengths program. Only remaining question: Will Oprah cut Stacy's hair, a la Hillary Swank?

OMGosh. THANK YOU for introducing me to new obsessions. I've never heard of some of these before and I'm dying for the booties and the Oh Deer strappy pumps. To die for!
The third pair is lovely
