In the New York Times, "Flying the Unfriendly Skies", Michelle Higgins gives us an inside look at being a flight attendant. All we can say is, those folks deserve a raise!

God, I read that and it brought back HORRID memories... like when this total jerk was chewing tobacco and spitting into a cup on a 3 hour flight. Then at the end dropped it on the floor, where it spilled all over. Guess who got to clean it up? I confronted him and he could have cared less. Total hick.
Or working 16 hour days, EASY. You only get paid for the time you're actually in the air (plus the measly per diem). I could not do it - Southwest is the only American line who takes VERY good care of it's employees, that's why my sis loves working for them.
I just did not have the patience that crap.
