New Bowling Alley at Foxwoods
After our recent experience at the new SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia, we, along with our friends in the bachelorette party we were with, decided that casinos only belong in Las Vegas, and possible Atlantic City. The 10 of us agreed that every casino we've been to outside of those two cities (in America, at least), has a somewhat sketchy element. At SugarHouse, that was older smokers playing slots and grandmas with bad wigs.
So, more power to Foxwoods and the new High Rollers bowling alley opening in October in a party hosted by Kim Kardashian, but we will not be rushing up there to check it out. We're just not convinced that, even with a catchy name, a marble bar, bowling alleys, chandeliers and pool tables can make a Connecticut casino cool, especially with a last call of 2 a.m.
